Dear Coaches, Parents, and Players,
PGC Basketball is offering two courses in the Waterloo region this summer, a PGC Essentials course for high school players from July 3-7 at the U. of Waterloo and a PGC Prep School course for players entering grades 7-10 from August 13-17 at Heritage College in Cambridge.
Here's a short summary about their programs:
PGC Basketball provides an intense, no-nonsense 5-day, 4-night training experience for male and female players, as well as coaches. Not just for point guards, Point Guard College courses teach players of all positions to play smart basketball, to be coaches on the court, and to be leaders in practices, games, and in everyday life. In addition, hundreds of coaches of all levels attend PGC courses each summer as a week-long professional development opportunity.
Here's what Rick Carlisle, Head Coach of the Dallas Mavericks, 2011 NBA Champions, has to say about PGC: “It’s the best basketball camp in America for learning how to think the game.”
Players can save $100 off the regular tuition fee by registering with the Early Bird Discount, which ends on March 15th. Mano is also offering a 50% discount to any Lightning coaches that would like to attend a course. (Coaches must mail in their registration form and include "KW Lightning 50% Discount" at the top of the form)
